Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (the „Terms“) govern the sale of admission tickets to the Museum of Communism through the online shop at muzeumkomunismu.cz.
1. Seller
Legacy s.r.o., Company ID: 26482142, registered office at V celnici 1031/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by [TO BE COMPLETED: court and file number].
Telephone: +420 224 212 966
E-mail: [TO BE COMPLETED: contact e-mail for orders]
Premises: Museum of Communism, V celnici 1031/4, 110 00 Prague 1
2. Subject of purchase
The subject of purchase is an electronic ticket entitling the holder to one admission to the Museum of Communism exhibition. The ticket is issued as a PDF file containing a QR code and is used at the entrance turnstile.
A family ticket admits a maximum of two adults and two children aged 10 to 17. Its single QR code allows four passes through the turnstile.
3. Order and conclusion of the contract
The buyer selects the type and number of tickets in the price list, completes the order form and submits the order. The purchase contract is concluded when the payment is credited to the seller’s account.
Before submitting the order, the buyer may review and amend the details entered.
4. Price and payment
Ticket prices are stated in Czech koruna including value added tax and are valid at the moment the order is submitted. Payment is made online through the [TO BE COMPLETED: name of payment gateway provider] payment gateway.
The seller is not responsible for any fees charged by the buyer’s bank.
5. Delivery of the ticket
Once payment is confirmed, the seller sends a single e-mail to the address given in the order, containing one PDF attachment with all purchased tickets. Tickets are not sent by post.
Failure to receive the message for reasons on the buyer’s side (an incorrect address, spam filtering) does not give rise to a right of withdrawal. The buyer should contact the seller at the e-mail address above and the ticket will be sent again.
6. Ticket validity and admission
A ticket is valid for [TO BE COMPLETED: number of months, currently set to 6] months from the date of purchase. It is not tied to a specific visit date.
Each QR code entitles the holder to one pass through the turnstile and expires once used. The buyer presents the ticket at the entrance either printed or on a screen.
Reduced admission is granted on presentation of proof of entitlement. Without such proof, admission on a reduced ticket may be refused.
7. Withdrawal from the contract
[TO BE COMPLETED — requires legal review. Section 1837(j) of the Czech Civil Code excludes withdrawal for leisure services supplied on a specified date. The tickets sold here are not tied to a specific date, so that exemption may not apply and the fourteen-day withdrawal period may be available. The wording of this article is to be determined by legal counsel.]
8. Complaints
Complaints are to be submitted to the e-mail address given in Article 1. The seller will settle a complaint within 30 days of its submission at the latest.
Where a QR code does not work, the seller will issue a replacement ticket without undue delay.
9. Personal data
The processing of personal data is governed by a separate document, Privacy Policy.
10. Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority, with registered office at Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, adr.coi.cz, is the competent body for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes arising from the purchase contract.
11. Final provisions
These Terms take effect on [TO BE COMPLETED: date]. The seller reserves the right to amend them; the version in force at the moment an order is submitted governs that order.
